A live music visualizer with its own DJ
Tap once. A DJ picks the music, and every sound you hear becomes moving art on your screen: the bass, the melody, every hit.
Start the showHow it works
Espectral listens to the music as it plays. It separates the low end, the mids and the highs, finds the beats and the hits, and follows the tempo and the mood. Every scene reads those signals sixty times a second, so the picture moves with the song instead of looping a canned animation.
The DJ streams independent artists from Audius and chooses what comes next from the energy and feel of the set, blending each song into the next. While it plays, the show moves between scenes, from ink and halftone portraits to light, physics and pure geometry.
Scenes made by the sound
- Ateliera piece painted live for the song you are hearing, set in a 3D room that rings with the bass.
- Orbitalreal atomic orbitals as glowing clouds, jumping between states on every big hit.
- Diffractioninterference rings that breathe with the low end.
- Portraitsyour photo in ink, charcoal, halftone, duotone and pop art, framed around your face.
- Graffiti, manga, zine, stencilstreet and print styles that cut and stamp on the beat.
