Make a clip

  1. Open espectral.ink, tap the DJ's record on the left and add your song.
  2. Tap SHAPE until it says 9:16.
  3. Press play, skip to the part with the drop, and tap REC. Tap it again to stop.
  4. Tap SAVE / SHARE: the caption is copied for you and the share sheet opens with the clip, so you can pick TikTok, Instagram or another app and paste the caption.

Tips

  • Start on the dropthe first second decides whether people keep watching, so begin recording just before the biggest hit.
  • Keep it short8 to 15 seconds is enough for a hook. Post more clips rather than longer ones.
  • Change the looktap AES between takes to try another scene on the same part of the song.
  • Put yourself in itadd a photo and portrait scenes build the visuals from your face.

Questions

Does the clip include the music?

Yes, when REC SND is on (it is by default). The clip has the song and the visuals together.

Can I use songs I did not make?

Post music you have the rights to. Your own songs are always fine; songs from the DJ belong to their artists on Audius.
